The Nissan Altima celebrated its 25th anniversary last year, but the 2019 Nissan Altima is even more important. That’s because the brand’s signature mid-sized sedan is all new this year, bringing a fresh look and some great new features to Woodhouse Nissan.
The 2019 Nissan Altima is overhauled inside and out. The exterior is more striking before, but it’s the interior that’s the biggest surprise; from the base trim up, you’ll find an unexpected level of luxury. Unlike many of its competitors, the new Nissan Altima also offers the option of all-wheel drive in addition to the expected front-wheel drive, which makes its already-good handling better still.
Two features deserve special mention. One is the seats, which offer a near-sublime level of comfort (which doesn’t sound like much ’til you notice how much more relaxed you are after a long drive). The Xtronic CVT, with its natural shifting feel, also stands out in the segment.
The new Nissan If safety is your priority, the Nissan Altima is your car. NHTSA ratings are pending, but we expect a repeat of last year’s five-star rating, since it’s already earned an IIHS Top Safety Pick. While the most advanced features (safety and comfort alike) are relegated to the higher trims, Intelligent Forward Collision Warning and Automatic Emergency Braking become standard equipment this year.
For another example of the perks of climbing the trim levels, just take a look at the top 3.5 SL trim. It gets a new version of NissanConnect, which adds Android Auto™ and Apple CarPlay™ to the company’s respected infotainment system. The same trim also gets Intelligent Cruise Control standard, and boasts other great features as well (you can see all of them at your Nissan dealership near Omaha).
If you’ve been patiently waiting for a redesigned Nissan Altima, your patience is rewarded this year. Your new Nissan car is as close as Woodhouse Nissan, home of Woodhouse Nissan. We serve Omaha, Plattsmouth, and – most importantly – you!
