Top Three Nissan Trucks By MPG

Nissan trucks have long impressed drivers with their performance and features. While fuel efficiency may not be drivers’ priority when shopping for a truck, they may be surprised at how well the Nissan truck lineup holds up in that department. Let’s take a look at the three most fuel-efficient Nissan truck models, and how they do on the road.
2022 Nissan Titan XD
As Nissan’s premier heavy-duty truck, it should come as no surprise that this truck puts in the work. When outfitted with the 5.6L V8 engine, this vehicle earns 15 MPG city and 21 MPG highway EPA ratings after testing. This combined efficiency comes out to be roughly 18 MPG on the road!
2022 Nissan Titan
The smaller version of the 2022 Nissan Titan XD, the 2022 Nissan Titan, was able to net itself slightly higher efficiency ratings than its big brother.
Using the same 5.6L V8 engine, the 2022 Nissan Titan’s EPA testing resulted in a city rating of 16 MPG and a highway rating of 21 MPG. Together this efficiency comes out to an 18 MPG combined EPA rating.
2022 Nissan Frontier
The cream of the crop, the 2022 Nissan Frontier offers drivers so much more than just fuel efficiency on the road. The standard 3.8L V6 engine earned itself an 18 MPG city rating, and a whopping 24 MPG highway rating after testing. Together, that’s a combined EPA rating of 20 MPG.
